V Greek Food Festival was held on 17 April. The festival is an annual event which aims to promote traditional Greek cuisine in Poland, authentic, regional recipes and products among hotel managers, restaurateurs, chefs and cooks as well as among consumers.
The festival is an excellent opportunity to discover new talents in the catering industry. Young Polish cooks, under the Chef's Club's tutelage had the opportunity to present their skills in the culinary competition, which was attended by 12 chefs from across Poland. Their task was to prepare dishes using the original Greek products. The task was best fulfilled by Łukasz Stolarczyk from Krakow, the winner of the Festival was nominated for the Polish Culinary Cup 2010.
